Mirror is planned to use SiOS for intuitive interfacing with Si. Max gives the programme a physical direction. These relationships guide development; final capabilities remain to be demonstrated.

Principles.
Built into the foundation.
We will develop Si around enduring commitments: respect for life, service to humanity and human authority. Those principles must shape what we build and how it is allowed to act.
Our aim is to make these commitments part of Si’s architecture, operating rules and independent action controls, supported by evaluation and human review. We will pursue the best way forward we know, and remain willing to learn, correct and improve.
People define the purpose.
Human intent and explicit authority guide what the system may do. A mission statement does not grant permission to act.
Boundaries are independent.
Models can propose and assist. Deterministic controls must decide whether an action is authorised.
Correction remains possible.
AI systems must remain open to being paused, corrected, replaced or stopped. Development has to preserve that human control.
Vision becomes practice.
Through deliberate work.
Listen.
Bring member perspectives into the questions we ask about hardware, intelligence and human experience.
Build.
Develop software, interfaces and hardware around a shared human direction, with explicit limits and reviewed changes.
Evaluate.
Test behaviour, examine evidence and correct what does not meet the standard. Aspirations are not results.

Use what we learn to guide the next iteration. The programme is an ongoing process of development.

Can I join without reserving hardware?
Yes. Anyone can subscribe to the Si development programme. Individual is US$15/month; Family is US$25/month and covers everyone living in the family home. A Max or Mirror reservation is optional and has a separate fee.
Is this the purchase price of Max or Mirror?
No. Individual (US$15/month) and Family (US$25/month) are recurring Si development memberships. Hardware reservation fees and the final hardware price are separate.
Do I need membership to reserve Max or Mirror?
No. Si membership is optional for all products. Each hardware reservation has its own one-time fee and does not require a subscription.
What happens if my membership ends?
Cancelling Si membership does not affect a hardware reservation or its queue position. Reservation fee refund terms remain separate; Standard fees are refundable and Priority fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Does membership mean Si is already super intelligent?
No. Si is a development programme with an ambitious direction. Capabilities have to be established through research, evaluation and evidence.
